Author Barbara Hannay to Visit Libraries

Australian author Barbara Hannay will visit Proserpine, Bowen and Collinsville Libraries on 22 and 23 May has local book lovers all a flutter.

barbara-hannay-2The author is a lover of the region, with her most recently published six single title novels all set in North Queensland.

Cannonvale Library Team Leader, Kerry Dorman, says members of the public are invited to come along and listen to Barbara as she talks about her successful career as an author of internationally award winning romance novels.

“She has sold more than 12 million novels worldwide and has earned numerous awards and nominations both in America and in Australia.”

Librarians across the region are encouraging romantics and budding writers from Our Towns to take advantage of this opportunity to meet and chat with Barbara and gain first-hand knowledge from an acclaimed author.

This is a free event includes an Author Talk followed by Q & A and light refreshments.
